Meredith Covey

Meredith Covey is a graduate student in the Master of City and Metropolitan Planning program at the University of Utah. She graduated with a B.A. in Urban Studies and Community Development, a minor in Sustainability from Boise State University in 2021. While at BSU she served as the Student Liaison for the Idaho APA chapter, coordinating efforts between the chapter and the Boise Urban Community Club. She is currently working as a Planning Intern for the City of North Salt Lake. Meredith is interested in ecological planning and understanding how we can plan our cities to be more resilient for a changing future. In her free time Meredith enjoys spending time skiing, backpacking, mountain biking, and reading as many books as she can find time for.
