City of St George
Jay is currently the city engineer for St. George. He has been involved in planning and infrastructure projects throughout his career. Jay has served on many committees including active transportation and complete streets. He has served as chairman of the Washington County Transportation Advisory Board and the Flood Control Authority. Most weekends, Jay can be found hiking one of the numerous lesser- known scenic trails near his home in St. George.

However, good planning and implementation of best practices and requirements to mitigate dust, can certainly help keep our air quality good during and after the construction process. This session will demonstrate how contractors, city officials and government agencies who consistently work together can contribute to preserve the clean and healthy air we all enjoy.
