Fred Philpot joined LRB Public Finance Advisors in 2006. Mr. Philpot serves as the production team manager for LRB, managing the allocation of LRB resources. Mr Philpot has served as project lead for numerous projects regarding user rates, impact fee analysis, feasibility studies, redevelopment and blight studies, and comprehensive financial planning. His project expertise also includes detailed land use analysis, demographic projections, retail sales analysis and sales gap modeling, analysis market conditions, and conducting level of service analysis.

Impact fees serve as a mechanism to ensure the construction of critical infrastructure necessary to promote sustainable communities and economic vitality. This session will discuss how impact fees are used to promote and preserve a community’s vision. We will also address updates to the Impact Fee Act based on the recent legislative session, and the potential future of impact fees in an ever changing environment.
