Tiger Funk has worked in the field of facilities management since 1988, in both public and private sectors. His professional path has taken him from being an HVAC technician to responsibilities in administrative roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University, a technical degree in building mechanical systems from Salt Lake Community College, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Southern Utah University. Mr. Funk has worked at Southern Utah University since 2006 and currently serves as the vice president of campus operations. Tiger’s life has many priorities, the pinnacle of which is his family. He enjoys time with his wife of 30 years and their daughter.

2024 Spring Conference, May 9, 2024 1:40 pmCollege campuses are said to be ‘a city within a city’ and Southern Utah University is no exception. Join us for a tour of the SUU campus, led by Campus Facilities team members and planners and architects who have been working collaboratively to realize some of the most significant projects on campus. The tour will highlight recent plans for a Campus Master Plan update and recent infrastructure projects on campus in response to significant growth SUU has experienced in the last five years, along with coordination with UDOT and Cedar City to upgrade adjacent facilities to meet the long-term goals of campus. The campus landscape will also be featured throughout the tour, including how the campus is working to respond to House Bill 121, Water Conservation Modifications, while maintaining the sense of place for which the campus has become so well-known
