As a representative of the Utah State Engineer, Nathan is tasked with managing water rights in the southwestern area of the state. The region is composed of eleven basins of which three have been declared critical management areas where withdrawals consistently exceed safe yield. He graduated in 2004 with a Master’s Degree of Civil Engineering from Utah State University, beginning a career with the State of Utah in 2006.
