Whitney Ward
Whitney is a Principal at VCBO Architecture. Whitney embraces a holistic design approach that ensures that functionality, flexibility, and durability are at the forefront of the projects that she leads. Whitney is an advocate for both community engagement and sustainable design and provides expertise in leading projects through an integrated and engaged design process. She graduated in 2005 with a Master’s degree in Architecture and a focus in Community Design from Montana State University and in 2015 with a Master’s of Real Estate and Development from the University of Utah. In her spare time, Whitney teaches Sustainable Development as an adjunct professor at the University of Utah City and Metropolitan Planning Department. “There is an emotional, physical, and environmental impact created with each building we build and space we create. As designers and building professionals, we have a responsibility to make each place the best it can be for the people who live in it, the community it serves, and the land it sits on.”
