Ronnie Pessetto is the Executive Director of Seven Canyons Trust, where she leads initiatives to restore Utah’s waterways and engage communities in environmental stewardship. She previously served as a Public Lands Planner for Salt Lake City, managing several parks and trails with funding from an $85 million General Obligation Bond. Ronnie has a strong background in urban and environmental planning, grant writing, and community engagement, with experience coordinating with government agencies, nonprofits, and local stakeholders. She holds an MA in City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah and a BA in Environmental Policy from Berea College, and has been recognized with awards for her planning and revitalization projects that positively impact urban communities.
