Nancy Monteith is a landscape architect with over twenty years’ experience in public and private practice. As the Senior Landscape Architect for Salt Lake City, she has managed numerous high-profile planning and design projects. Most recently, her work is focused on developing a major linear park in key downtown streets, to allow integration of nature and trees in the complex urban environment. This work requires collaboration with a cross-functional team spanning the city’s many departments. Nancy is the Co-chair of Salt Lake City’s Sustainable Infrastructure Committee, a multi-departmental working group whose purpose is to advocate for integrated design and incorporate green infrastructure in city projects.
