Ruby's Inn in Bryce Canyon

Lance is the current General Manager at historic Ruby’s Inn in Bryce Canyon City, Utah. Ruby’s Inn is a fourth-generation family owned business and has been serving guests to Bryce Canyon National Park since 1916. Lance has been the General Manager since 2007. He is a 2003 graduate of Southern Utah University with a bachelors in Economics and Finance. He is active in his industry and is the former Chairman of the Governor’s Tourism Development board, he is a past president of the Utah Hotel and Lodging Association, and is the Chairman of the Garfield County Office of Tourism Advisory Board. He currently lives in the town of Tropic with his wife and four kids.

Join us for a brief welcome from a local representative as we kick off the conference near Bryce Canyon. This short introduction will provide a glimpse into the history of the area, the role of tourism in the local economy, and the importance of thoughtful planning in gateway and rural communities.
