With more than 20 years’ experience, Valerie has honed her professional expertise in land planning, zoning, public outreach/involvement, community and economic development. Specializing in creating, revising and updating Zoning Ordinances, General and Special Area Plans, in addition to land entitlement work, and other development driven process, her vast experience in both the private and public sectors enable Valerie to see interrelationships of the whole picture as she offers sound recommendations and proven strategies for communities to develop as they desire. Her firm, Planning Outpost was established in February 2021 to provide these much needed professional services to the communities throughout Utah and the intermountain west.
