Lots of cities have maximum lengths for cul-de-sacs. Ours is 650 feet for public roads, or max of 10 residential units for private roads before a second access is required. Unless you’re on an extremely busy road or have lots within the cul-de-sac that generate a ton of traffic, most cul-de-sacs of this length will not really trigger “access management” concerns in terms of safety or traffic circulation as long as you have adequate space for traffic and pedestrian use along with adequate sight distance.
