Erica Brown

For over 20 years, Erica Brown has been a noteworthy leader in the nonprofit space. You may know her from her work as the chief marketing officer at Thanksgiving Point. Erica has been honored by many organizations for her work in marketing including Utah Business magazine’s “Women to Watch” and “40 Under 40” awards. She is passionate about building better communities by creating and sharing seasonal events like the Tulip Festival and Luminaria. She values curious kids and helped plan and launch the Museum of Natural Curiosity in 2014 and the Butterfly Biosphere in 2019. Throughout her career, she can be credited with many “firsts” – including a Guinness Book of World Records award for largest balloon structure in celebration of the “Wonder of the World” Thanksgiving Point and a carefully planned “submarine” left in Liberty Park pond on April Fool’s Day as part of a “Random Acts of Curiosity” campaign. Erica has significant experience across marketing and product development, event management, branding, public relations, government relations, strategic planning, revenue management, organizational design, and innovation. She resides in South Jordan with her family.
