Drew Ellerman is the Community Development Director for Washington City, Utah. His work philosophy has been that of finding solutions to any challenge, and leaving things better than you found them. He has been at Washington City for the last sixteen years. Prior to that, he spent twelve years with the town of Snowflake, Arizona, where he was the Town Planner and Town Building Official. While at Snowflake, he had the opportunity to write and implement the town’s first zoning regulations and building codes. During his twenty-eight years of service, he has had various experiences overseeing growth and development of the communities he has worked for. He finds great satisfaction in building strong relationships with councils and commissions, state and federal agencies, but most importantly, the citizens of the community.
