Claudia Loayza

Claudia Loayza is a developer and community builder with a background in planning and public service. As a developer with Developed. By Women., a nonprofit and sister organization to Giv Group, she works on projects ranging from affordable housing and mixed-use developments to rural initiatives and trauma- informed design. Her work centers long-term community impact and placemaking, with a belief that working with the built environment is about creating spaces where people feel connected, supported, and at home. Previously, Claudia served at the Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs, where she created Magnify Utah, a statewide hub highlighting people, places, and stories to foster belonging. She holds a Master’s in City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University. Recognized as one of Utah Business’s 20 in Their 20s and with the Living Color Award, Claudia serves on several community boards and initiatives.
