Chris Parker has an abiding passion for helping places renew. This interest has gradually progressed from buildings to blocks to efforts that prove out replicable sustainability and social equity concepts at scale for low and moderate income families. He’s been fortunate to help create safe, affordable homes for thousands of Utahns through his work at Giv Group and The Perpetual Housing Fund.

2025 APA UT Spring Conference,2025 APA UT Fall Conference, October 10, 2025 1:30 pmSalt Lake City’s South Temple and Central City historic districts preserve many of the city’s early mansions and ornate homes. Learn from city planners and developers about the districts and visit five recent projects within a few square blocks on a walking tour. This includes two adaptive reuse projects and the construction of three new residential buildings that add over 450 market rate and affordable housing units to this growing and evolving neighborhood.
