Participants will learn what the 2023 Planner Perspectives on Climate survey, conducted as part of the 2023 Divisions Council Initiative to the entire APA membership as well as within select international planning audiences, revealed about the state of climate response in the planning field.

Participants will also learn from experienced planners working in domestic and international settings sharing their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing planners in planning for sustainability and climate resilience. They will be familiarized with selected best practices and lessons learned by the panel of veteran planners.
