  At Lehi City we are starting to have concerns about people grading their property in the hillside after the master mass grading has taken place. To put in landscaping people are disturbing steep slopes (30% plus) and we do not currently require the landscaping plans to be reviewed by staff. Has anyone else dealt with this concern? Does anyone have code in place that helps deal with this issue?

  From Bruce: Grading. I recommend reaching out to Ivins City. Several years ago, I wrote their development code. They were very concerned about slope maintenance and ordinance infractions. You may even be able to check their code standards online.
