Michael joined the Division of Drinking Water as a DWSRF project manager in October 2006 and became the section manager in October 2011. As the infrastructure funding section manager, he oversees the financial assistance programs offered by the division. Michael earned degrees in chemical engineering and business administration from the University of Utah and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Utah. Before his work with DDW, Michael spent 17 years in the private sector as a laboratory technician, process engineer, and consulting engineer focusing on water and wastewater treatment, environmental assessment, and site remediation.
