CALL FOR JUDGES
DEADLINE: IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A POSITION ON OUR 2022 AWARDS JUDGING PANEL, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION, NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JULY 22ND by 5:00 pm
APA Utah is excited to announce that this year, the APA Chapters of Nevada and Utah are teaming together to review and score this year’s award nominations. The Utah Chapter Awards 2022 will be presented at a virtual awards ceremony on Monday, October 17th. To assist the Chapter, we are looking for 6 to 8 volunteers to review and judge the Nevada Chapter award nominations. This is a unique opportunity to review projects from a different state and to learn about innovative ideas potentially applicable to communities here in Utah.
Judges will be asked to evaluate the nominations over a four-week timeframe (July 25 – August 22), which is anticipated to take 10-15 hours of time. The volunteer judges will also participate in no more than two conference calls with the Nevada Chapter Awards Committee Chair to discuss the review process and scoring of the selected Nevada Chapter winners. Nevada will provide judges for Utah Awards. The nomination period and information for Utah awards will be posted to the Utah APA website by July 18th, 2022.
If you are interested in volunteering to be a judge, please contact Ted Knowlton at ted@wfrc.org
or Kirsten Whetstone at kwhetstone@summitcounty.org. Please submit your interest in joining our judging panel by Friday, July 22nd, by 5 P.M.
