Nominated: Thomas McMurtry
Summary: This is the largest collaborative ATP in Utah to date. Collectively, there were 244 projects of varying types. A major goal was identifying a connected backbone network throughout the 6 cities. This led to a total of 33 backbone projects with 8 projects (24 percent) located within Midvale’s jurisdiction. All projects were vetted via past/existing plans, extensive public outreach, insightful input from the stakeholder committee and key collaborators, and consistent evaluation from the project team of Avenue Consultants and Fehr and Peers.
