I am excited to run for the position of Secretary for the Utah Chapter APA. For the last 5 years, I have served as an APA Ambassador for the National APA bringing awareness to planning as a profession to K-12 students and sharing the benefits of APA. I hope to keep excellent records and expand chapter membership through outreach to members, students, and others. I am especially interested in early career membership and Planning Student Organizations. I enjoy taking part in local conferences and meeting other professionals. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2015 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning. In my current role as Associate Planner for Farmington City, I am tasked with Long-range Planning and am a Staff Liaison for the Trails Committee and Historic Commission. I have 10 years of communication experience working for UPS in their Corporate Center in Salt Lake City where I focused on Experience Management and Social Media. I hope to bring these skills forward in my role as Secretary and promise to be a great addition and liaison to the chapter.
